Birth
Babies Boobies

LCCE, LEC, Mama

I'm Taylor. I’ve been immersed in the birth world since before I can remember. My mom was a childbirth educator and doula for 20+ years and owned a private practice in Hawaii. Now, 30+ years later - I’m continuing her passion. I am a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator (LCCE), Lactation Educator Counselor (LEC, USCD), and previous Birth & Postpartum Doula.

“It takes a village” means absolutely nothing if that village is not accessible to American mothers. For far too long, cost barriers, our isolated way of living, and our medicalized model of birth in America have stopped women from getting the knowledge and care they deserve. I'm here to help guide you on your Birth Babies Boobies journey through evidence-based education either in person or remotely.

My Services

My Mission

We’ve lost the generational wisdom needed to help families make informed decisions in order to create a safe, happy, and powerful birth & postpartum experience. Nature designed birth and breastfeeding to be simple. Without the knowledge of how our bodies work, we lose that simplicity. My mission is to provide services to expecting mothers in order to bridge this knowledge gap & help them find power in their experience in a world that makes us feel like we are powerless and part of a statistic

"1 in 8 women report symptoms of depression after giving birth. About 1 in 5 women were not asked about depression during a prenatal visit." - CDC

- "Breastfeeding is one of the most effective ways to ensure child health and survival. However, contrary to WHO recommendations, fewer than half of infants under 6 months old are exclusively breastfed". - World Health Organization

"Approximately 1.3 million women in the United States undergo a cesarean section each year; the procedure is the most common operation performed in the United States." - National Institute of Health

"6 of the 15 most commonly performed hospital procedures in the entire population are associated with childbirth." - Evidence Based Maternity Care

We live in a world where birth is medicalized, intervention-heavy. We throw mothers into this overwhelming and often times scary world without providing them with the proper resources and education of how to navigate this system. Here’s a secret: it doesn't have to be this way.
